2022 Virginia Early Childhood Care and Education Workforce Survey Overview
The 2022 VA ECCE Workforce Survey was administered to teachers, site leaders, and family day home (FDH) owners at sites participating in Virginia’s Birth to 5 quality initiative (VQB5) in May-June 2022. The survey was administered as part of a partnership between the SEE-Partnerships team at UVA, the Virginia Department of Education, and the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation. The survey asked teachers, leaders, and FDH owners about their experiences working in early childhood education in Virginia.
