2022 Virginia Child Care Provider Survey Overview

The 2022 Virginia Child Care Provider Survey was administered to leaders (e.g., site owners, site directors) at licensed or registered child care sites throughout Virginia in September-November 2022 as part of a partnership between the SEE-Partnerships team at UVA and the Virginia Department of Education. The survey asked leaders about their sites’ enrollment, staffing, teacher compensation, and finances, as well as their experiences with Virginia’s Child Care Subsidy Program.
