2021 Virginia Families with Young Children Survey Overview
The 2021 Virginia Families with Young Children Survey was administered to parents/guardians of children aged 0-5, not yet in Kindergarten, who were attending an early childhood care and education (ECCE) program participating in Virginia’s Birth to 5 quality initiative (VQB5) in November 2021-January 2022. The survey was disseminated through ECCE programs as part of a partnership between the SEE-Partnerships team at UVA, the Virginia Department of Education, and the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation. The anonymous survey asked parents/guardians about their experiences with early childhood education in Virginia.
